We do not collect payment data, government IDs, health information, or any sensitive personal data.

To generate your personalized software recommendations
To track affiliate clicks for commission accounting
To improve site content and recommendation quality
To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Session cookies: Required for the recommendation wizard. Deleted when you close your browser.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate the site:

Neon (PostgreSQL database)

Stores product data, recommendation sessions, and email leads. Data is hosted in the United States on encrypted infrastructure.

Affiliate networks

When you click an affiliate link, the network may receive your IP address and sets a cookie to attribute the referral. See each network's own privacy policy.

Data Retention

We retain your email and recommendation data for up to 3 years from your last interaction. Affiliate click logs are kept for 2 years for accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You may also withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. EU residents may lodge a complaint with their national supervisory authority.

International Transfers

We operate from Canada. Your data may be processed in Canada or the United States (where our database and AI provider are located). We take reasonable steps to ensure these transfers comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR for EU users and PIPEDA for Canadian users.
